the sunday before christmas, we made it to richard’s uncle’s house for a good ol’ back yard bbq…
this year we have so much to be thankful for, especially a new little cousin to play with!

well don’t ask sam that. he had issues with me when we returned. our trip to fredericksburg for our fifth anniversary was such a treat! we joked about how we might have to write notes down to keep the conversation going. we didn’t realize how much we could talk with out getting interrupted!
it was great to stop for many different types of bbq along the way. we got to walk downtown in the afternoon before it got too busy. daddy let me do a little shopping, mainly window. 🙂 we enjoyed a quiet dinner and christmas lights in town. before we left the next day we stopped by to visit colleen and jacob. such a nice treat! thank you to gramps and granny for keeping the boys and to my aunt colleen for finding this cute little place.
