the ballpark with boys…

after all that rain and freezing cold temps, saturday was a gorgeous day.

daddy treated us out to the ballpark. you enjoyed every bit of it jack! you even started to cry when we left! they had a great day planned for the kids. the boys played a few games, won prizes and even got a few autographs… the best part was running the bases. even daddy had a big smile on his face and said he always wanted to do that!

what a way to do it but with his boys! i think it will be something we try to do next year, if the weather is as nice as it was! simply gorgeous and you boys simply adorable to watch!

these days…

are fun!

and they can be long when daddy is back at school. i am not a fan of the dog in the house. but lately she makes me feel a little more relaxed with the boys on those long days. it’s also cheap entertainment too!

we’ve been catching up with friends. big and little 🙂

god has such a sense of humor. i never thought i would have a blonde hair blue eyed child. i’m kind of still in disbelief that i do. these two pictures i got had me giggling at how much they kind of look a like. oh that hair!

samuel you are not at the best age for pictures with friends…

we had a fun visit with miss felicity. samuel you are so much like your brother in the sense that you are just not ready for these girls!

i think you just like being the c e n t e r of attention.

play day

the weather has been so awesome the last few days. today was daddy’s first day back at school, which means a long day for us! we decided to use the new “super fast” way {as jack says} and meet up for a play date. that really just turned into a play day.

samuel. you are so not like your older brother. you climb e v e r y t h i n g and eat e v e r y t h i n g. including dirt. you think the play ground is yours. yours to climb and eat. oh boy you are a mess, a fun mess though.

if i can find my way back there again, we will go back. thank you nadia for sharing your park with us! it was so much fun. i realized we stayed there for over three hours!

thank you to evy, joey and bailey… us mama’s were able to visit and cuddle with the littlest one!

oh so much cuteness in these rolls!

new years eve count down…

10. jack is potty trained.

9. jack has become a full time talker and quite the questioner.

8. sam learned to roll over.

7. sam learned to sit up.

6. sam learned to crawl.

5. we took our first family vacation.

4. sam learned to walk.

3. jack started his first catechism class.

2. we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary.

1. we had an amazing year as a family overall…. happy new years!

merry christmas {round three}

oh yes we are still celebrating 🙂 christmas evening we headed back to our house to host christmas with nana and papaw and uncle albie!

daddy made a whole spread with enchiladas, chili and tamales. we are still full.

the boys enjoyed helping each other unwrap the gifts.

we enjoyed a relaxing evening visiting and watching jack’s newest editions to his movie collection…

merry christmas {round two}

our christmas company was a day late due to icy weather along their way. we tried to make up the time as best we could. kindle helped me surprise richard with his christmas gift, a smoker, and the kids were able to help us in the kitchen with christmas cookies!

isaac had us laughing so hard. his thoughts on these cookies… “i had a bad idea!” he did not think they tasted very good.

christmas eve afternoon we packed up presents and headed out for lunch at gramps and grannys. we were all able to attend christmas eve mass together which is always so special.
