i made known this was the lavender festival of 2016 as oppose to….. well you know maybe next year 😉
it was a first for us. we made it a girls day and it was so much fun!  thank you erika for remembering your camera so we could have some fun with pictures.

ak was so excited to go to her first little concert…Â Â she danced her little heart out.
afterwards we made a fun day out of it and headed out to enjoy a little hill country afternoon, ice cream and all.

we feel so blessed to be able to find this small town church.  father justin will be going back to nigeria in mid july.  he has made such an impression on all of our hearts. he has truly been a servant for christ.  we will miss him so much!

i barely get in these pictures but i hope you kids know how much excitement you bring me each day.  you may or may not make me want to pull my hair out sometimes but it’s almost always followed by a smile 😉 .  thank you for making my birthday so special daddy!  we enjoyed pizza and cake and a “best of” movie of our exciting life together 🙂 here’s to whatever god asks of us this year!

the end of season party was a hit…
a lot of hard work, sweat and at times some real tears went into this season 😉  i am so proud of these boys!
