come. sit. stay. maximlian’s first birthday party …

any excuse to throw a party… we kept it simple with just family, lunch and cake. nothing too crazy for a one year old who loves being next to mama and daddy at his own home. it was so sweet to see you max. you really knew it was all for you. we loved watching you enjoy everyone around you and just being comfortable at your own house. you chow’d down on your big cup cake, only really getting the icing and sharing it with anna kate and samuel. you got so many different sizes and shapes of balls and your very on baby shark, just perfect for you. jack picked out a texans mini football for you and you were in heaven. thank you to everyone who celebrated with us. it meant so much to us that you came in to love on our little man.

sweet sweet boy! what a year we had! i would do it all over again just for you… you proved to us that not all our babies will be just alike. you pretty much are everybody favorite. we don’t know how we ever lived without you.

on your first birthday, you slept in till 10:30! what a big boy! we ran up to get donuts and I think your siblings were most excited. it was a really cold but beautiful day! bailey and joshua came over and we let you crawl all around outside, you were in heaven! we ended it with mama and daddy bringing home cupcakes after a much needed dinner date night… you stayed up so late after having your very first mini cupcake!
maximilian you are such a gift. thank you for this incredible first year. it’s so hard when time passes so quickly but i am so excited to see what you will learn to do this year!
