happy birthday gramps!

so beyond thankful to be able to make a little one night stay to celebrate Gramps’ (my Daddys) birthday.

this man is like no other. in the last year we have seen him go through so many changes, he went from full time to part time in the office to full time at home and in his parish.

the best part of this last year is watching him with the grandbabies. i always knew he had a soft spot for the babies in the family but with as picky as maximilian can be, he has always favored his gramps. and Gramps has always been gentle and patient enough for him. ❤️

brave little girl

sweet girl had her first ballet class the other week. she joined in with a class that’s been going all year, walked in and did her thing with not a worry. she got a jewel sticker at the end of class. it was so much fun to see her running and dancing around the room with other little girls. she is becoming such an independent little girl. getting dressed with what she thinks looks best. brushing her teeth and making her bed. all on her own, most of the time without being asked. she loves taking care of things. it is so much fun to see how different she is from the boys. she will talk your ear off if you let her. i absolutely love seeing how brave she is at trying new things and making friends… you have so much to teach me miss anna kate!
