it’s only thirty-three people in one beach house for one whole week…..

what could possibly happen? a lot actually. a few birthday celebrations, an anniversary, a graduation party, a gender reveal and of course just fun late nights and lazy afternoons on the beach. w a r n i n g … this post is mainly pictures {which most of my posts are 🙂 } but this one is extreme. because so many memories were made in this house and we tried our best to capture it all when we weren’t too sandy or holding babies…

it was simply the best.

what a great weekend we were able to have together. chad came into town for work and was able to surprise joshua for his special weekend. of course we made such great memories this weekend 🙂

girls just wanna have fun…

and we sure did! this weekend anna kate and i went out to help throw a surprise party for two of her cousins.

dana sent the picture of anna kate and me to bailey and erika telling them to come out to gramps and granny’s house because i had “surprised” her with a visit. little did they know that there was really a bigger surprise for them just to the side of me in that picture. the best part was erika thought she knew all about this “surprise party” for bailey…. little did she know it was actually for her too!

this quick trip was actually before jack’s first tball game of the season. mama went to visit nadia before their new addition arrives 🙂 jack and samuel only had one night to play with joshua during this visit. the poor thing ended up with a fever after the first night we got there. they still played their hearts out though. the weather was perfect. there was lots of swinging, riding “joeys” and telling knock knock jokes…

when i look at my pictures on our phone i realize it doesn’t look like we are very busy….

but with daddy in school this semester it seems that the weeks are jam packed and flying by pretty fast… over valentines day weekend, family came to town and we snuck out for a double date with dana and mike. on saturday, daddy bbq’d and us girls snuck off to shop a little. it was such a fun weekend!

quick trip

daddy started a new semester and we went along for the ride on his first week back.

the boys got some play time in with cousins and us girls got to do some shopping 🙂

and we also snuck in some ear piercing! oh anna kate, that was by far the saddest cry i have ever heard from you, but it also ended quickly as granny gave you your first sucker. 🙂

that night we celebrated gramps’ birthday { a few days late } 🙂

as quick of a trip it was, we packed in so much to celebrate!

NYE 2016

this was the second year to host new years at our house, so i’m going to go ahead and call it a new years tradition. i look forward to it as much as christmas 🙂 it was such a great new years eve here. last year, all the adults went out and this year we decided to stay in. it couldn’t have been more fun. i haven’t laughed so hard in the longest time! we created some great memories…
