anna kate,  our little cranky franky… as we sometimes need to say.  you are the sweetest thing!   at three months old, we are finally to a stage where you are pretty smiley.  you love to talk and we love to listen!   you are still our roomy and i’m not really planning a date for you to move out yet.   i’m a little attached ok?  the boys are still head over heals for you and you are for them too!   our favorite thing is to watch you watch them.  you get so excited. you take lots of cat naps during the day still and sometimes surprise us with a long one.  it is never predictable.  ever.  you did very well on you first road trip out of state.  however, since we got back you can barely make it to the store.  i’m just going to pray that passes.   i  can’t believe how much you changed this month.   your personality is growing all the time.  it looks like it’s going to be a fun one 🙂

the day after the boys birthday party,  bailey was my partner in crime and helped me make the trip up to oklahoma to surprise holly for emily’s first birthday.  unfortunately,  we were surprised ourselves when holly said she couldn’t be around us because she had just been running a fever that afternoon 🙁 .   luckily, all we got were bad allergies and complete exhaustion.  🙂  but the kids had a blast and we had so much fun celebrating this little sweet heart…

{hello two months}

anna kate, two whole months and i can’t even remember what life was like before you!

you are adding some thickness to those thighs..  oh my!  at two months i say you are gaining weight very well.  your hair that fell out on top so quick is also growing in quick too!  i’m kinda excited about that one 🙂   you take alot of cat naps.   you love love love to be held.   only a few certain ways.    you are giving some smiles and some “coos”  you love your new mobile in your crib.  you are intrigued by the mobile on the mamaroo.  you can’t take anymore of the clown on your bouncer.

you give mama strange looks when i have the camera.  go ahead and just get use to it… it’s basically part of the family.    you were nice enough to flirt a little after i nursed you for a little happier photo session to document the big  t w o  months.

yeah this went way too fast.   i still don’t understand how pregnancy seems to crawlllll by…and then the moment you see their sweet face you can’t slow anything down.  sweet girl you’ve been a joy this first month.  you love to eat.  you spit up insanely.  i am very thankful we have less carpet in this new house.  you have been waking up about 2 am and 5 am and maybe squeeze in a little 7 am squirming session.  you are very serious for the camera.  no one has seen the few smiles and “coos” you have given me.  i’ll just consider it our little girl time/secret.  the boys are madly in love with you just as we are.

funny little valentines

 jack,  you love to celebrate just like your mama.   you were so excited to pick out anything red to decorate for st. valentines day.   you were spoiled having a few cousins spend the weekend with you.   to tell you the truth, just like every time we get together with family, we missed you!  you are off to play all weekend and perfectly happy.  your valentines day gift was going to academy and getting all your tball gear with daddy.   you had a great time and just couldn’t keep your eyes off of the football gear.  daddy had to keep telling you “focus jack! we are looking for baseball!”  you are a stinker and quite the model for me these days …

oh samuel,  busy busy kid.   on this st. valentines weekend you were so excited to tell everyone “happy bir-day!”   🙂   you love to celebrate too!   we were so excited to get you a copy of 101 dalmatians also known as “woof”   for st. valentines day.    you also got a stuffed dalmatian too!  you’ve been carrying it around all weekend.   you are saying all kinds of things lately.   joshua and jack were asking you all you could say in the car and laughing hysterically at the way you tried your best to say them.
