birthday girl get away…

anna kate, on your actual birthday, you woke up at gramps and grannys house and we celebrated with donuts before our cousins headed back home and we headed out for one more day of vacation.

we stopped in fredericksburg to enjoy some family time and relax before our big move. we all enjoyed some pool time and a yummy dinner. you barely made it past dinner time and the boys each bought you a gift on main street 🙂 these gifts coudn’t have been more perfect for you.

what a fun day we had together! we hope your year ahead is full of adventure and lots more love!

her first fourth…

we came back from vacation and we were exhausted. but daddy still barbecued 🙂 and we enjoyed sleeping in our own beds! whoohoo!

{eleven months}

slow down little miss!

at eleven months you are busy. we didn’t get to do all the photos mama loves to do because of this so called busyness. you are trying to stand on your own. when you take someones hands you try to run off with them. you are silly girl. you love to make us laugh with random out bursts of your gibberish. you love to eat. you love to sit forever in your high chair and munch on anything and everything. you mostly love meat and fruit. you still love to dance and bounce. however, you are getting a little braver at trying to jump. it makes me so nervous. you are a joy. we really could probably snuggle with you all day. we have big things ahead just as you are about to turn one year. i’m hoping it doesn’t make this time go too fast. you are precious in every way baby girl. here’s to eleven months!

it’s only thirty-three people in one beach house for one whole week…..

what could possibly happen? a lot actually. a few birthday celebrations, an anniversary, a graduation party, a gender reveal and of course just fun late nights and lazy afternoons on the beach. w a r n i n g … this post is mainly pictures {which most of my posts are 🙂 } but this one is extreme. because so many memories were made in this house and we tried our best to capture it all when we weren’t too sandy or holding babies…

it was simply the best.

anna kate frances, sweet thing this month is the month you have become just a little big girl!

you are starting to stand for a few seconds at a time all by yourself. you are eating big people food happily! we have learned you cannot have anything dairy related. anything. you love music and dancing. you love being upstairs with all the toys. you love falling asleep next to daddy. you have eight teeth visible! you are a happy traveler as long as mama is near by. you light up every room. we cant believe how fast you are growing! we love you sweet ak!

what a great get away we had! southern california was so good to us. we visited with family, had a night out and just enjoyed the sites and our time together so much! anna kate you were a trooper on the flight and learned a few new tricks this week. clapping your hands and waving hi to everyone, you had people just squealing over you and no it wasn’t just me and daddy. jack you loved the beach so much! the first visit was a lot to take in but then you fell in love. samuel, you and sand were love at first site. you even poured a handful on your head. just for fun. crazy kids… you were excellent travelers which excites mama and daddy for many more future adventures ahead!

anna kate frances is nine months! i told daddy today this has got to be one of my favorite ages…

so lovey and starting to get a little more brave with her every move…

little ak, at nine months you have six teeth making more and more of an appearance every day with four more coming through as well! you love showing us how big you are. you are a skilled crawler and pick up quite the speed when you hear us running bath water. you climb up on everything {window seals included}. you love music. love. it. baby kangaroo is your theme song. you are getting more excited about trying new foods. unfortunately, we are seeing you break out with almost everything you eat when we are out and about. you are entertained by the brothers, a mama’s girl and you have daddy wrapped around your finger. this is going to be a fun summer ahead watching you grow and explore. stay as sweet as you are baby girl and keep dancing!
