samuel, my little guy with the biggest heart! you are close to 4.5 now and becoming so independent. it is so exciting to watch you. you love your speech class and your classmates. you get excited to tell me all about it. we have learned that you can love with all your might and you can also fight with all your might. when you don’t want to do something, it has us sending you to your room to get over it. sometimes it takes a very long time (compared to the way your siblings would handle that punishment). you keep us on our toes and challenge us that’s for sure. you also teach us to slow down and enjoy the cuddles ❤️.

you are one cool kid samuel fulton. we are so very blessed to call you ours.

oh girlfriend…

anna kate frances, you are a hoot. at twenty months now you basically run around with the big kids. you demand just as much or well, who am i kidding, probably more than they do. when sitting down to eat you are completely fine until they ask for a drink and then you also let me know “juuuuuu!” im on it don’t you worry! when the boys come running to tell us something, you aren’t far behind them telling us your own version. you are quickly turning into a little girl instead of my baby girl! i have such mixed emotions about that one… your vocab consists of “mama, daddy, jack, shoe, gog gog (dog dog) meow, orrie (norrie), chee (cheese for a picture) ming (swing) min mow (minnie mouse) bubba (bubble guppies)” and “no.” one thing that hasn’t changed is we all still say “isn’t she the best?!?” yes we are talking about you 😉. you make our days so fun. you love when we are by your side joining in on the fun or just simply hanging out. this year is going so fast and i’m just soaking up all of your one year old ways ❤️.

third season … new recruit

we are super excited to have both boys playing t-ball this year! even on the same team! this will be jacks final year and samuels first. we are so excited that they had the opportunity to do this. it will make for some great memories for all of us. samuel is super excited just to be part of a team and jack couldn’t be more pumped to play another sport again. you boys are awesome. we pray you always stay this close!

catching an early break

we took an early break … because we can 😜. you kids made this road trip really easy and fun. we survived with no more than three stops each way!

nana and mama took 6 kids to the movies. we are crazy yes, but it was a great time.

dana and i were able to see audrey assad.. and it was so, so wonderful! she is so very gifted and does a beautiful job with art and her music.

our sweet little colette lucille ❤️ was baptized. she is so precious!

celebrating so many good things this week made it hard for us to leave! samuel was so ready to get home though. he is our little homebody. daddy was more than ready to have us back too!

so we got a barn cat. she is very loved. and honestly isn’t much of a barn cat right now…

oh goodness. this is the fun times of being a parent. we have seen a whole new side of the kids. i honestly can’t get enough of it. she is growing super fast and as she grows we are getting ready for her to help “outside” of our house. i think as the kids are getting braver she is more than ready to move out too. oh the adventures of pets. 😹

oh my goodness these little loves. between parenting, schooling, having fun and i guess a million other excuses i have not come back to blog much. deep down i miss throwing out random happenings, thoughts and quotes on here. i tend to easily go to instagram and post pictures but lets face it, its not the same. so as late and random as this post is… i’m hoping it will help me jump start one of my favorite little hobbies.

anna kate!! oh you are at a super fun age! 18 months going on 18 really. i love that you love your brothers. you get away with almost anything. even they laugh when you do something totally crazy and not acceptable. you love to give kisses. you give your mary night light kisses every night before bed. it is probably one of my favorite things you do. you play dress up with the boys in all their super hero costumes. it is hilarious. tonight you came running with thor’s hammer and a girly scream sounding like “he ya!” you say “meow” for kitty cat. “me me” for “pretty please” you love to yell for “jack!” as always we can’t get enough of you. you will probably get many new random posts dedicated to you and all you are starting to do 🙂 i promise!

samuel! i’m in complete denial that you will be 5 in november. that just is crazy. i’m soaking up all the 4 year old samuel i can get. even the random tantrums. you are so different than jack ever was. it is such a challenge for us but i love it. you are you and you are such an awesome kid. you have the biggest heart. you tell me “i love you” randomly all day. you love anything creative and messy. this spring is a big deal for you! you will start your first try at t-ball. we are so excited to see you out there. you have been a super big brother to anna kate very loving and patient. jack taught you well.

oh jack jack. i love you so much. this year has been so much fun watching you learn so much in school. you have your good days and bad days.. but hey don’t we all? i learn so much through you. you have got to be the best big brother. you make sure anna kate is well taken care of at all times. you also make sure samuel is doing what he should be doing too. 😉 you have lost f i v e teeth already. for some odd reason the one thought we would lose almost two years ago is still there ?!? you still are in sports mode all of the time. you have a good sense of humor. you are my biggest helper. i wish you didn’t have to grow up so fast.

so this post can be a mini catch up for now. it’s good to be back 🙂

{ christmas day 2016 }

christmas evening we headed over to nana’s house to have a yummy christmas dinner and enjoy some more family time. this little girl loved being the center of attention…

i didnt get all the pictures i hoped for! anna kate loves to be the center of attention but i couldn’t get her to take a group picture for anything. 😛 this uncle, spoiled these boys like crazy! it was so fun to watch them together.

we missed papaw so much this christmas. but we know he is so proud of us for carrying on the traditions like we do and sharing the love that Christ taught us. family is such a blessing!

oh how amazon prime has reduced the shopping stress with three littles. this year was kinda crazy because we made a one week trip back home and then one week back here… then it was back home for weddings, baptism’s and a surprise birthday party. oh and christmas. it was busy, but it was good busy. and after seeing how christmas ended. it was perfect. the next post will hold so many photos i’m sure but it was a christmas to remember. love these littles and feel super blessed as always… siblings really are the best gift you can give your children.

what a sweet girl we have! i miss doing updates for you month to month…

my little girlfriend thats for sure! you love your blanket and paci and any cuddle time. you start off sleeping in your bed but somehow always want to be in ours at night. you love animals. you love when its time to eat. you run so fast and try to climb in your seat. you love chicken nuggets and mainly ketchup. you love dance parties and still can stop moving when you hear any piece of music. i have loved watching your personality blossom. you can be quite the drama queen but after two boys, this mama loves it. i love you so much sweet girl! you are the best!
