i find it strange that the more kids i have the harder it is to leave that baby. sweet anna kate at four months i finally separated myself from you for more than an hour…

you were in great hands though 🙂

what a fun weekend we had. friday night granny and aunt colleen came up so daddy and i could sneak away to his christmas party…

the rest of the weekend we spent preparing the house a little more for christmas…

and anna kate also had her first visit from st. nicholas!

she was pretty thrilled st. nicholas skipped the chocolate coins and candy canes and went with a little toothbrush for those gums of hers…

christmas is only a few weeks away. we are making our list and checking it twice… 😉

just the day to day happenings in our week. from dentist trips to gymnastics to playing around the house i still can’t figure out how our schedule fills up so fast… we have been missing our library time so much, i can’t wait to get back into it…

four months

sweet anna kate, yes its winter but i had. HAD. to show off these thighs.

my little roly poly is four months old and i feel like the time is just going by so fast. you still love being held but we are finding you more and more content just playing with toys on the floor or in one of your contraptions. i officially moved you to the pack n’ play. i know a whole 8 feet from my bed. oh my. but hey it’s a step.

we still are unsure of your eye color but we know they are pretty so i’ll just watch them change day to day. i hate to jinx myself but i feel like your niagara falls of spit up is slowing down a little bit. or else i’m just really use to it. you are laughing a little bit more lately mainly at your brothers. yes they still love you and smother you but you let them know when you have had enough.

so many firsts with this age and most of yours is all the holidays …. can’t wait to celebrate your first christmas in a few weeks. get ready for alot of lovin’ from all your cousins!

thanksgiving {2015}

our first one in the new house 🙂

it was rainy and cold outside but inside was so warm and smelled so good 🙂

jack, you ate many rolls… and enjoyed having your very own glass of tea. samuel you enjoyed a roll and then it was off to play. you all came back for pie later that evening.

morning mass and an afternoon of preparing a late lunch… this mama had a good time in her kitchen. so thankful for our new little addition this year. anna kate, we took a much needed nap together after lunch 🙂

almost a year later and we finally made a night out as a family to one of mamas favorite places.

to top it off the boys received compliments from the people next to us at the restaurant, that can always give mama and daddy a boost!

oh brother…

jack anthony, as bossy as you can get being the biggest brother, your love for samuel is unreal. you are samuel’s translator most of the time and half the time you are wrong. samuel fulton, we could listen to you talk all day even when no one can understand you. you guys are so much fun to watch together. you two are competitive and you know how to make us laugh. you look out for one another and always want to make sure no one is left out. your favorite things to play together right now are restaurant {“texans cafe” to be exact}, building forts for your stuffed animals, building legos, blocks and lincoln logs. your favorite cartoons are peppa pig, paw patrol and most recently mutt and stuff. your taste buds are as opposite as your looks but you share a mad love for candy. you also share a mad love for your sister. some days can be quite the challenge with you guys but i would do each and every rough day all over again because … well, just look at you guys….

we pray every night that you only grow closer to jesus and stay close with one another. we love you boys.

oh my goodness i love you babies… we have been having lots of fun learning new games both indoors and outdoors. the cooler weather has been so nice, especially now that this place feels more like home! we have officially been here for one year! never in my wildest dreams did i picture an extra little one to snuggle up with in this house THIS year but here you are anna kate. we cant even remember what life was like before you! we love the joy you bring to us each new day!

well we already had the birthday party for all three, but when the opportunity to surprise the big guy arises you go for it!

we had a great time surprising joshua on his e i g h t h birthday! he was not expecting it at all. we had so much fun playing with his new toys too!

no granny did not give you any cupcake anna kate. you were eyeing it like crazy though! you act so big for your age crazy girl.

so many laughs so much fun! we are already looking forward to playing with this one over the holidays…

oh my goodness we love you so much!

today was such a fun day together. we celebrated you with a few little surprises in the morning, a date with daddy in the afternoon, enjoyed some play time and a paw patrol birthday party in the evening.

sweet samuel you have brought us so much joy these last three years! you and jack are the best of friends. it has been so much fun to watch your relationships with your siblings grow. i see something starting between you and anna kate already. it is adorable. i can probably say you love everything. you really have the biggest heart. that may be why you are also very sensitive. you give the best kisses. you are very funny. the way you talk almost always needs a translation by me or jack. you love building things. you love your stuffed animals. you love your costumes. you love hulk. being t h r e e is going to be so much fun for you buddy! happy birthday samuel fulton!

this year we are in a new neighborhood so we had a new way of trick or treating. hay ride style! one of daddy’s friends invited us to join them for the evening. you guys had a blast and are already looking forward to next year!
